2006 Class Parties

We PCHS 1958ers are really party people!

The 2004 Las Vegas and 2005 Carmel gatherings were so much fun and we enjoyed each other so much that we cannot wait to get together again.

Two class parties will be held in 2006. Below is information about both.
The two are separated by space. culture and climate. One is not far from our old home, while the other is in an area and climate far removed from what was familiar to us as we grew up. Both should be interesting and great fun.

* Port Austin, MI Sept. 8, 9, 10
Hosted by Anne Donaldson Lowe

The dates for the PCHS class party are Sept. 8th, 9th, and 10th.
I'm planning a Friday night barbaque at the cottage, Saturday is open for golf,boating, or just exploring the Thumb area. Sat. night I thought we'll have dinner in a private room at The Farm Restaurant, one of the areas nicest places. The food is just great.
Once I have an idea how many people to expect I will talk to the owners and work out a menu and price and get back to you. Then Sunday morning a brunch at The Garfield Inn in downtown Port Austin.

There are many small motels and cottages as well as two bed & breakfasts in the area. I would suggest that you contact the Port Austin Chamber of Commerce at www.portaustinarea.com or call them at 989-738-1211. Once you get the list of accommodations I would be glad to tell you my opinion of any that interest you.

I'm not leaving Orlando until the last week in July for Michigan. Call or e-mail here til the 27th of July, then the phone at the cottage is 989-738-8274. I won't have a computer there.

Hope you'll be able to come.
Anne
